From overseas, having a clear transparent view of your production in China is challenging without boots on the ground. But simply being at the factory all the time isn’t enough. You need a garment factory that can get a proper job done without you actually having to be there to supervise it all the time.
Sampling and development provide a challenge for many overseas buyers. For a buyer or designer, a fast and correct proto-sample is necessary for the understanding of the skills of the factory and seeing if the design has come alive from sketch it was created on. Our sampling technicians apply sewing technology to your sample that they consider the best methods for your bulk production. Especially the first proto-sample is important for checking wearability, fit, seam strength and outlook. More challenging fit issues such as draping can be responded to with in-house knowledge or consultation of highly skilled European pattern makers. Our staff always offers designers the best advise on improvements on fit, workmanship and outlook.
Our sample makers work with strict dead-lines for sending out samples as quickly as possible, while using all materials as correct as possible. Before sampling our merchandisers will double check details with you and update you on the submit schedule.
For brands that make collections, small quantity salesman samples are made in our sample room. Larger quantity salesman samples will sometimes be considered mini-productions and made in the garment factory workshop.
Brands and retailers that have their own patterning department can send the CAD in DXF or RUL format to us for direct sampling. Our sample room has all the updated CAD software.
Please note that because of the immense workload on the sample room, we do not make salesman samples or market testing samples for new brands.
